Kinect (previously called project Natal), one of the biggest and most innovative technology from Microsoft, is overwhelming with the sales figure of 480,000 bundles the first week of launch. That’s the biggest quantity ever seen in the gaming industry with respect to consoles. XBox, since its launch has almost reigned the market except the past two years where Nitendo took both Microsoft and Sony to the second level with it’s Wii.
Well if you are comparing the sales figures with the competitors, then please do remember that this is the sales figures of the whole Kinect bundle and not the hardware peripherals or games. The accessories sales are not accounted here.
Kinect Sports and Dance Central are the highly sold games for Kinect, selling around 142,991 and 132,554 respectively. Harry Porter has made an entry to the Kinect games and I hope that the wizard guy will also have a good time there too. My personal favorite? Kinect Adventures and Fighters Uncaged.
